The ultimate ma' & pa' dine in. You can call and have your food to go, catering or sit and enjoy a home feel very southern cooking. The atmosphere is superb! From the greeting at the front door welcoming you in, to your server brining you a great hot meal homelike!
It's like going to grandmas house to eat! If you are in the Stuart/ Port Salerno this is the restaurant to eat at.
Beautiful small, friendly and tasteful! Great food. Great music. What more do you need? -

I love this quaint little restaurant. It was right down the street from my house when I moved to Stuart so I ended up going there quite a bit. If you got to Whistle Shop, you have to get the philly cheese steak.
That's the best sandwich at the restaurant. It's so good. The cheese is fresh. The pieces of steak are cut just right and the bread is sensational. The onions and peppers are okay but the rest of the sandwich makes up for that. -

Dont be confused like we were. :) order when you walk in and then find a seat. They'll bring your food once it's made to order.
Which is the best. They make it fresh.
We came for breakfast. Service was friendly, fast, and like I said, made to order ... in our family that means crispy, almost burned bacon and extra cheese on my eggs.
It wasn't the cleanest place, with a fly buzzing around, but that shouldnt deter you.
It was like your mother in law's kitchen on a hot summer day. -

I had the Philly cheese. Again, for the area I was in I was limited to finding a good Philly. It was alright. The sandwich was thin on the meat and peppers (which I had to add, not included--I believe that's a Philly crime), but again...the area...

Quality place. My dad comes all of the time. We stopped to grab a sandwich and was a great experience. He usually gets the BLT and says it is pretty strong.
I ordered the Cuban sandwich and again it was pretty good. They used whole pieces of pork (which is what you should do but some people don't).
The people were very friendly and this is the type of establishment that you want to support. I will put this on the "Make sure that you visit again" list.
Please support.
